>From the ARRL UHF contest claimed scores, the N0HJZ and K9CVC multiops
placed 2nd & 3rd in the nation, W0ZQ/R, KC0IYT/R, and K9KJ/R placed 1st, 2nd, and
3d in the rover class; KM0T, W0GHZ, and K0CJ placed 1st, 3rd, and 11th in the
SOHP class, and N0KP and N0VZJ placed 2nd and 14th in the very competitive
SOLP class. This is based only on e-logs ..... paper logs may move these
around a bit.
KM0T may have the highest score of all operating classes .... not sure if a
single op station has ever beaten the highest scoring multi-op in the UHF
contest before or not, something for the historians to check on !
Not too bad from this neck of the woods. Remember when it was rare for an
Upper Midwest station to crack the top five ?
