I'm in agreement with Donn on the widely separated idea--at least (or
particularly) for the first weekend. For frequency congestion, I could see
rover groups breaking up into 3's or 4's, but will be playing in the same
area (South central Minn). And I fully anticipate operating groups south
of the Twin Cities activiating somewhere between one and three spots per
day. If those south of the cities spots are comfortable, I could see them
not moving much and letting the rovers do most of the moving.

The biggest reason I'm on board with an All-Minnesota All-Overland effort
for both weekends is that "it's something different". Second, I think
we're ready. Third biggest reason is that I have a personal goal of
developing organized use of multiple frequencies to increase QSO rates. I
feel this is easier to work on and make progress on overland shots with
good liaison.

I don't think we've reached our potential on Lake Superior. I vow that we
return in 06 for the August weekend and apply our 2-frequency skills at
that time. But first things first--2005.

I'm kinda pumped! :-)
