the k1fo designs are also in one of the arrl hand books from a few
years ago... i built one.. the 22 element 432 design... well
actually I stoped at 19 . didn't want to add more boom on for 3
elements, it works well, and was the highest gain 432 antenna (well
tied with a 25 element actually) on range at au04..

U should be able to find some ut141 pretty easily... its not regualr
coax but instead its "hardline" with a copper jacket around a teflon
core.. i have picked up the stuff on ebay for cheap .. u might have
a local u can buy it from.. i think u need less than a foot

the problem i find is paying directive systems the big money ($40) for
the element keepers and insulators...(enough for 50 elements)... theres
gotta be a place where a person can buy them cheaper.... but if their is
i cant find it...

and yes, its fun drilling all them holes straight in the higher band
yagis...

directive systems makes a good k1fo yagi a little smaller than u are
looking at....

Looks like fir a 33 element it would cost about $100 in parts or so. This antenna is in the Jan. 1988 QST. Also in the VHF/UHF antenna classics paperback.
