Wow - june is coming up fast. Since I lack a good fixed location to operate
from, I'll be roving for the June and August contests.
For June, my plan is to work from the EN34-adjacent grids. My (tentative)
plan is to start in the south-east corner (en44,43,33) and work clockwise to
Kasson (en34), Beauford (en23), Winsted (en24,25), and Delano (en35) (the same
as my original January plan). If this interferes with other rover's plans,
let's discuss them.
If this works, I'll repeat the route for Rovermania.
I enjoyed the lake superior "rove" last year. I'd be happy repeating it in
August. For working Sisseton, I'd consider trying a route closer to the twin
cities. I think Highway 15 will work if some of the farmers plant beans, and
will allow for rapid-fire QSOs, while also providing views back to the twin
cities. Those who didn't want to travel to Sisseton or run the highways could
find a park with a view and liesurely work the group in the middle.
