I forgot to say that each summer E-season is unique too.   Some  summers have 
been amazing with E openings nearly every day for weeks on end  while other 
seasons have been very quiet with few  openings.    If you can find out why 
this is, you could  claim your 5 minutes of fame.   As I recall, there is a weak 
to  the solar cycle with better E seasons at the bottom of the solar  cycle.
