Regarding the recent SBMS Microwave Contest, please send me your logs.
The contestis based on a club entry, so I'll provide a summary sheet based
on your logs .... I plan to attach all the logs to it.
Bruce has done a very nice job of providing us with such a tool ..... see a
cut & paste of his previous email below. If you want too, or if you do
not have Excel, send me a txt copy of your log and I'll punch it in .... it
doesnt take too long, but please compute the distance points for me using
BD, WinGrid, or your favorite tool. Remember, its km, not miles ... 1km =
1 pt.
Also, do not forget the power multiplier on the distance points ! Its 3x
for less than 5mW, 2x for 6mW to 5 watts, and 1x for above 5 watts.
I have logs from:
W9FZ
W0JT
KC0IYT
Ask questions if you've got them. We have 30 days to get the logs in.

I've built an .xls sheet that you may want to use as a logsheet. It does
no math although you could easily highlight portions of a column and use
the SUM button and generate a total. Plus, I've included my own log for
review. Both are available for download at:
http://w9fz.com/ham/sbmssprintlog.xls and
http://w9fz.com/ham/sbmssprintlogw9fz05.xls
If you have 36 or fewer QSO's, then when you hit print, only print page 1
to save a piece of paper. Otherwise there is room for 72 QSO's on 2pages.
(I highlighted the callsign column, edit>replace -- 0 in the top line and Ø
(alt-0216) in the second line --then replace all)
If you click on them, they may open in your browser. To actually use the
files on your computer, you'll have to right-mouse-click the hotlink above
and save the files to your harddrive. If you edit a file, you may want to
then save it with a unique name on your computer.
