Hello NLRS land.
We had 26 sign-ins at the NLRS club table yesterday. It was nice to see
everyone, have some eyeball QSOs, and plot & plan the summer away on the World
Above 50MHz. I brought my old 10 gig FM units for show & tell, Glen brought
his 817 + 222 transverter, and Bob & Donn brought their 10 and 24 gig
systems which prompted lots of questions. Donn also had a nice display that
shows a map of the greater Twin Cities area and how we use Downtown for our 10gig
net.
Speaking of displays, our NLRS banner is a bit beat-up being a paper
printout only, so we've had some discussions regarding something a bit more
professional ..... more on this at Aurora.
Overall, the MidWinter attendance seemed to be down. Perhaps it was the
snow. None the less, the club table once again had good activity.
PS: Ed, WB0VHF, you won one of the grand prizes at the final drawing so
make sure you get a hold of them.
73, Jon.
