Not a huge score but OK since I really didn't put in a lot of time.

Probably would do much better on 902 and 1296 if I had real antennas
instead of a discone :-)   I promise to improve this by August or
September.  I have the goods--  just dragging my feet on reworking
_everything_ on the tower to accomodate it-- which is unfortunately
required.

Was hoping to run 60W on 1296 too (if even into a lousy antenna) but the
new DEM amp appears to be troublesome.  Draws 11A at idle and offered no
gain and a terrible mismatch to the exciter...  so, more work to do there.

In any case, it was fun to play when the wx was lousy but I was conflicted
about staying in the shack on Sunday when the sun was out.  We don't
see the sun around here much anymore...
