'Morning, gang.

This week, Gary Lauterbach, AD6FP, will be in town. Gary's one of the top microwavers on the west coast (Silicon Valley). Gary's done a 10GHz linear translator, designed the dual 10/24 GHz feed that some of us have built, holds (or has held) a bunch of the microwave DX records (24, 47, 76GHz, and up), and was one of the group who (along with Barry, VE4MA) recently completed the first 47GHz EME Qs.

He'll be checking into the Thursday 10GHz net with Jon, K0FQA, and myself from Fletcher. Afterwards, we'll get together for kibble and nash at the Fuddruckers at Weaver Lake Rd and I-94 in Maple Grove. We'll be there by about 7PM.

Fuddruckers basically has hamburgers... but they're really good hamburgers! This one is in the NW corner of the intersection of Weaver Lake Rd and I-94. Its the first exit WESTBOUND from the I-94/I-694/I-494 junction in Maple Grove. Easy to get to from any of the Interstates. Exit Weaver Lake Rd, turn west (across the freeway for most of you), and Fuddruckers is on the right.

Everyone's welcome to join us at Fuddruckers (you don't have to check into the 10GHz net !). If you think you'll make it, please try to let me know ahead of time (wa2voi _at_ arrl _dot_ net) so I have an idea how big the group will be. The restaurant is kind of free-form, but still....

Talk to you/see you Thursday evening.
