Hi All -
There are several of us from the area who are planning a multi-op for the UHF
Contest next weekend. We plan to be on all bands and have a great location.
Our QTH will be Buck Hill Ski Area, just south of Minneapolis. Our grid will
be EN34ir. The ski hill has a great view in all directions for miles. We'll
have nice antennas, very short feedlines and a great group of experienced ops.
We are looking for some sked on the bands for Saturday night and Sunday
morning. We figure we can should be able to work out 400-500 miles so we're
looking for skeds at those distances.
If you normally do not work into the Minneapolis area (or have difficulty),
let's set a quick, 15 minute sked to run the bands. Drop me a note for a sked
request.
Last time we operated from the Hill, we worked over 20 states on 222 & 432
and all the way down to Alabama and Virginia on 1296! Will we get a repeat?
Make sure you're active in the contest to find out!
