Put a bunch of updates on the NLRS web site. Most of the new content is
from Aurora 2005, which happened about 3 months ago. (Sorry to be so
slow!) I'm still happy to accept more submissions of photos or other
files from Aurora 2005, and will work them in as I can. It looks like
some of the presentation files are pretty big, and are still uploading
as I type this message. Hopefully, everything I sent as an update will
be there by Monday morning. (Too bad my cable modem uploads much slower
than it downloads.) Any presentations that used Powerpoint slides are
included as both the original Powerpoint file and as a series of web
pages (HTML). The HTML versions are much friendlier to low-bandwidth
connections, since you only have to load one screen at a time, and then
you can read it, then go get the next page. . . HOWEVER, much as I
tried, I could not get Powerpoint to save to HTML without using "active
content", so your web browser may complain of an "unsafe" web page. I
certainly didn't put anything malicious into these HTML files, but they
do contain something that IE6.0 complains about. You have to click on a
part of your web browser screen and "allow active content" to view these
HTML files. Sorry about that, too, but Microsoft (as always) does
things THEIR WAY...

Lots more work left to do, but I will keep plugging away as time permits.

I have received an updated club roster, which is long overdue, but have
not had a chance to place it on the web site yet. Likewise, I have
received the antenna range test results from Aurora, but haven't written
the code to display them. I also have to get moving on web support for
Rovermania II -- I plan to include info on not only the rovers who have
announced their plans, but also info on fixed stations.
