As JK pointed out, the January VHF contest results are out on the ARRL's
website. I noticed that both W0ZQ/R and W0GHZ had some negative numbers in
their band counts. A quick scan of the entire database shows some other
negative numbers here and there. It looks as if the League may have a bug,
perhaps an algorithm bug, that needs to be looked at. I did drop Dan a note
indicating the problem. In looking through the scores, I don't think it will
change much if anything, but heck, we chase for those Q's (and darn hard in
January), so we should get positive credit for them !

Regarding the contest results, some highlights:
* NLRS finished 7th of 19 clubs in the Medium category with 24 logs.
Badger Contesters were 9th with 13 logs while the CVVC finished in 4th place (of
nine clubs) in the Local category. Congratulations to all three clubs !
* Rich, N0HJZ, was 7th in the Nation in the QRP Portable class.
* Division leaders were N0KP (Low Power), W0GHZ (High Power), N0HJZ
(Portable), and KC0IYT/R (Rover).
* K9MU and N0VZJ with 20 grids on 6m, and oddly enough both had 20 grids on
2m as well ! N0KP with 11 grids on 222. On 432, N0VZJ with 14 grids and
N0KP with 13. W0GHZ with 5 grids on 902 and 9 grids on 1296.
*  Nationally, KB0LYL leading ALL 2m QSO totals (Low Power) with  167 Q's !

Again congratulations to all who braved the rather poor conditions.

On a slightly different theme, take a look at the band scores for N6NB/R,
N6ZZ/R, and N6MU/R who generated rover scores of over 2M points each. They
activated 22 grids (lots of driving !), but note how many grids they have on
EACH band ..... hmmmm, 22. Each rover made about 2,000 Q's, but apparently
all, or certainly mostly all, with themselves (aka, grid circling).

73, Jon
