Jon & All -

I think this is another lesson about what we can do as a club when we all 
participate.  Some would say that we have no chance to be competitive since we're 
outside the East Coast.  I don't believe it.  We have one of the best 
organized clubs in the country.  We've turned a lot of heads in the 10 GHz Contests 
over the past few years, we blew away the competition in the UHF Contest and 
now we're the only club to ever turn in over 50 logs in September.

I appreciate the "thank yous" but all I did was nag everyone to turn in logs 
and tracked our progress.  The real thank you goes to everyone who operated 
and turned in a log!  

I will bet that another club is eyeing our gavel for next September.  I say 
we try to increase our activity and turn in 100 logs!
