Had to work all day Saturday, and had no time in the preceeding week to
get anything fixed around here, so I was not well prepared. Hadn't even
read email since early January, so I didn't know who was doing what. I
just jumped in for a few hours when I could. Initially had 5 bands
working, but managed to get 220 going after awhile and picked up a few
people I originally missed on that band. The 432 amp decided to just
oscillate whenever I sent RF through it, so I had to leave that
offline. And 902 was initially intermittant, but settled down after a
bit of use. Still haven't switched the transverters to a better radio,
so no working CW on the higher bands, no working 2304, nor an antenna on
the tower for it anyway, and I had to cannibalize the 10 GHz system to
get 220 going again, but figured that wouldn't be a biggie since I'm
down in a hole from which 10 GHz signals are unlikely to propagate far.

High points:
  * working W9JN in EN54 on 50 and 144
  * working K0AWU in EN37 on 50, 144, 222 (first time for me), and 432
(a rare treat for me)
  * sweeping 6 bands with W0ZQ, W0GHZ, N0KP, K0SHF

Low points:
  * after the thrill of getting my 222 and 432 signals to go over the
hill to my north all the way to EN37ed, *NOT* getting 1296 to do
likewise. Oh well, I later heard W0ZQ struggle to manage it, so I don't
feel so bad.

Score summary

Band   QSO's  Grids
  50    21      5
 144    29      5

Total 91 21 Score = 3,234 (will submit after I check the log)

P.S., keep the postings coming, and check the results at:

http://www.nlrs.org/ContestScores/Admin/DisplayScores_VHF.php?Contest_ID=1&Year=2005

I'll try to keep it updated, since I don't have to write any code for
updating it any more, I can just fill in a web form to add new data.
