Subject: [Mw] Announcing RainScatter v 1.0
Fellow Microwavers,
I have made several improvements to the RainScatter program since this
summer. It now includes several new features that I hope will lead to
the realization of longer DX and more general activity. The interface
is very similar to earlier version, but I suggest that you look through
the new user's guide to make the most of all the new features. The
entire continental US is now covered, and there is an "alarm" feature
based on current NOAA storm tables that alerts you when a path may exist
between you and another station.

I know it's the middle of winter, but maybe we can play around with some
snow scatter to get us ready for the big DX this summer. Maybe you
could try it out in the VHF contest next week.
As always, I would appreciate any bug reports.
Sincerely,
Andy K0SM/2
