Hello NLRS land.

The purpose of this email is to first thank Donn for coordinating our
Aurora '05 program once again. Through the last several years Donn has
been doing an excellent job ! I highly recommend that you attend the
presentations that are made in the afternoon at Aurora '05. I know that
I have learned quite a bit from these presentations and I always look
forward to them.

Secondly, I want to encourage all of you to take Donn's words to heart.
If you have a subject that you would like to present, please step forward
and share your experiences and knowledge with us at Aurora '05. As I
discussed in my NLRS 2004 Year In Review email, sharing knowledge and
experience is a part of what the NLRS is. We are all friendly folks (no
one has been egged) and are looking to learn from each other.

Happy New Year

It's NOT to early to start thinking about the program for Aurora '05. As
always, what would you like to hear about/see as presentations ? If
there's enough lead time, I'll try to find someone who can talk about it.
Some topics take longer than others, so lets get ideas in as quickly as
possible.

While I'm on the subject, what are YOU doing that you'd be willing to talk
about ? A project you've done over the winter, maybe ? Some studying
you've been working perhaps ? (Propagation, receiver performance,
Rain-scatter, etc.)

We can talk about things at Breakfast on Saturday (8th Jan 2005, Old
Country Buffet, Nicollet and 66th Ave in Richfield, 8:30 AM). It would be
REAL nice to have an idea of what to do/what's going to happen at Aurora
'05 by the February Breakfast. (Actually, it'd be nice to have it BEFORE
the February Breakfast !)

Thanks to Curt, KC0FQZ, we've gotten permission to use the White Bear 1st
Lutheren Church facilities again this year. The date is 23 April (4th
Saturday of April). Lets hope we don't get 6" of snow again !!
