Yes, there really is  a beacon, 10368.300.   The beacon is in EN34iv and is 
aimed at the IDS  tower and downtown Mpls.   I don't think you will hear it 
from your  place Don, with the exception of maybe during some snow/rain ....  it 
may  be fun to see if you can hear it then.   I would think that you should  
be able to hear it from any of the locations that we have been to where we have 
 worked off of Downtown .... the location just north of the church in 
Lonsdale  comes to mind.
