The calling frequency of 47088 MHz is a harmonic of
98.1MHz.
Weak signal sources for this band involve something
like
a Frequency West Brick in the 11GHz range driving a
diode
harmonic multiplier. I ended up taking a 39ghz down
converter
and cutting the multiplier section out. Now, there is
a
transverter scheme that will work with 96MHz
(fundamental
to 1152) - if you lock a 12096MHz brick to 96MHz, and
double
to 24192 and feed 24192 to an antiparallel diode pair
acting as a harmonic mixer, you can get to 47088 with
a 1296
IF.
Anyway, a simple weak signal source that should work
well
is a TTL clock oscillator running at 32MHz - feed the
output
to a mmic and you will have a marker signal up to
10ghz.
Or, you can take the 1000MHz phase locked oscillators
that
came out of Qualcomm radios and were offered by the
San Diego
Microwave Group, do the mods, and get a nice 1152
source - feed
a diode with this and you will have a test source good
to
24ghz.
