Well, I tried.  Here is the skinny...

Very few wanted to do the $125 + shipping arrangement.  I am unable to locate ANY 2" OD x 0.028" wall aluminum tubing.  Even if I could have found some, the price was going to still be in the neighborhood of $125.  I talked with Hal about the change in order size from 38 at $50 to about 5 at $125.  That's a steep supply/demand curve.

Those that do want one of these HF screwdriver antennas can call the folks in Washington and make arrangements to get one.  You might be able to save some shipping if you pool your order, but it will be minimal savings.  It sounds like they have some built and ready to go.
