I roved through 3 Grids; EN52, EN51 and EN62; making 21, 14 and 22 QSOs,
respectively.

28 different calls are in my log...including two other rovers: Gary, N9GH -
operating NA9US/R, was worked 6 times and 5 QSOs were completed with Mike,
WB8BZK/R. Had contacts with a number of fixed stations from all 3 of the
Grids I visited. Some surprises were two mobile stations on 446 FM Simplex,
one out in Belvedere when I was at EN52/Plato Center and the other on Lake
Shore Drive near downtown Chicago when I was at EN62/Arlington Heights.

Multiplier count was better than in this year's 144 or 222 Sprints, even
though I only operated from three grids (versus 4 in the prior sprints)...29
total (10, 9 and 10 from each of the grids I visited), 13 unique grids
worked.

"Best DX": To the Northwest: EN34, to the east: EN82 (also EN71, EN72 &
EN73), to the South (actually more Southwest): EN50, to the North: EN53 and
EN63, to the West: EN41. The "local 4" Grids were well covered, especially
EN52.

Thanks to all who were on and to the ETDXA for their sponsorship of the
Spring Sprints.

73, JK
