Hi again -

Thanks for the help and advice received on the reflector and at
breakfast this morning. The consensus seems to be to use Writelog which
is said to be 1) Pricey and 2) Has a steep learning curve. I don't know
about the learning curve but it appears to cost $70.

Well, it took a bit of searching but I found a working copy of MS-DOS
6.21 and used it to build a bootable diskette with NA and the FD data
files which works. It took me a while to get used to building system
disks with one floppy drive again, though. I used to do it a lot but it
has been a while.

One word of caution for anyone trying to do anything similar. Don't try
to use Tabs when updating NA data file such as SECTIONS.MLT. NA expects
only Spaces between columns, thank you, and dies when it finds anything
else.

Oh and I forgot to pass along greetings this morning from former local
VHF DXer, Hank W0RLI, who says he is looking for us on 2m. If we ever
get an Es opening to Portland, OR, he'll be there.

A good breakfast this morning.

73, CJ K0CJ
