I thought I posted mine yesterday but I never saw it reflected.  Anyway
Matt, KF0Q said it better, so I second his comments but add the
following.:

Ham Com works.  That is APRS but not on the APRS frequency.   (That way
it is not repeated).   It helped in Mike, KM0T, find us and also Matt.

AN idea I just had, if propogation supports it:  Have a relay of rover
positions and scheds on say a three hour fixed sched bases, with the fixed
stations helping to relay this info.
