Hi all-

I have to say I was rather pleased as well. As a non-NLRS member (thinking about
joining), I was happy to talk to a few there and they were quite happy to answer
questions (altho, I wish I had more questions at the time). Lots of neat things on
the table. Especially liked that loop yagi (I forget which band that was for). Walked
around for quite a while and the number of people at the table seemed to be
increasing every time I looked.

I've been on 6m SSB for many years with my Swan 250C. Also on 2m & 70cm SSB, but
only with 5W on my FT-817 (but with only a 2m horiz omni... I have no idea how far
70cm goes out). Currently in the middle of modifying my 250C to work with my Swan
TV-2 2m transverter, so hopefully will have far more power on 2m SSB shortly.
