Hi Matt,

Good Show! Need more demos like that to show the ham community that
Microwaves do work and work well and are not line of sight.

Subject: [NLRS] 5.7 and 10G demo success

Two more Winona area amateurs got their feet wet on 10Ghz tonight. Just
prior
to the monthly meeting of the Winona Amateur Radio Club I set up portable
with
200mW downtown on the back of the rover. Another station setup across the
Mississippi in Wisconsin also in EN44 - for successful contacts on 5.7 and
10Ghz. One of the participants is in high school. The group had a great
time
- all the stuff worked well - had a bit of freq drift on 10G for some
interesting tuning. 5.7 was awesome! Any way was nice to see the
interest -
one in the group has been an amateur for close to 50 years - never saw 10G
equipment before. Hope we can get some more weak signal folks in the area -
never know -

Matt
