Thanks for spearheading this once again Earl.

In addition to your posting, I would also ask that we include some
demonstration, examples, etc., of "low band" VHF.   For instance, is anyone
building a 6, 2, or 222 transverter that they could bring to the table for
show & tell ..... if not, I will bring my 2m DEM transverter with the top
off so that people can see how (easy) it is to build.    Does anyone have
the little 222 transverter that was design to go with the 706 & FT100 (for
6, 2, 222, and 432) to show ?

Are there other things we can do to move people into the VHF (6, 2, 432)
ranks from HF ?    How about some home pictures of 6m & 2m antenna systems
along with a grids worked map .... someone volunteer to do this ?  (Example
- here is a "typical" 2m station and here is what they have worked)
