Hi All -

I wanted to fill you in on an upcoming trip I'll be making.  As you may know 
I have a goal to operate from 100 countries.  So far I've only hit four, but 
it's a start.  This year I won't be traveling far.

For the CQ World Wide DX Phone Contest (October 30-31), I'll be operating as 
VA4MWA.  I will be operating from the QTH of Derrick, VE4VV, near Winnipeg.  
My goal is to make over 2,000 QSO's in the contest.

I hope to work a lot of NLRS members during the contest.  I would think we 
could work easily on the low bands and hopefully on 10M scatter.  Watch the DX 
spotting nets and webpages to see what frequency I am on.  I will have good 
power and antennas on all bands.

The QSL cards are being printed right now and all NLRS members who work me 
will get a card.
