[NLRS] Considerable activity on 2 and 6

Hello All

  Just a note regarding activity. Last night I worked Vince N0VZJ again
down at Big Lake on 6meters. Vince has been on almost nightly for over
a week and has a VERY nice signal up here. S7 has been his average.

  Also worked last night, were K0JO, K0MVJ and KB0CIM all on 144.200.
Signals were very good with little or no  QSB. It was nice to have a good ole 
ragchew. Roger heard KC0REO down in Owatonna calling CQ, but missed 
working him. Vince reported working Jack N0RUF in CoonRapids on 2.

  Tuesday afternoon about 4:15pm local, I worked NG0E John EN23mw 
down in Mountian Lake with good signals on 2m. (231 miles)Tuesday night 
I worked Jack N0RUF and Vince N0VZJ again on 2m with weak signals 
and went to 6m for a while with good signals.

  We seem to have several fairly new stations on 2/6m right now. I have 
heard more CQs on the band in the last week than I can remember in a 
VERY long time. JOIN us!! Hit that mike switch and put out a call. Lets 
encourage the newer guys to continue to call and be active ....
