I've been reading the various FD Plans and, though I'm not *completely*
sure, I believe the VHF Tent where I will be playing Field Day will have
capability for 222, 432 and 1296. (Nothing fancy like WSJT or FSK441,
though).
I will be at the Motorola Amateur Radio Club Field Day, K9MOT, at the
Corporate Headquarters Campus in Schaumburg, Illinois, EN52xb. (Even though
I was downsized from MOT 2+ years ago, they still let me play Field Day with
them.)
Our location is not a tremendously high spot, but probably worth trying a
few contacts Saturday Evening (I'm thinking 8-10 pm?) and/or early Sunday
Morning (6-8 am?).
Let's also not forget that Phone AND CW are valid...and with no time
restrictions on VHF Band (or mode) changes...activity can be quickly
'doubled.'
I'll confirm later that K9MOT will indeed have these bands (pre-staging
meeting this afternoon) and if any groups want to make 'skeds' let me
know...I'll relay (and make sure we have a CW operator available in the VHF
Tent at those times).
