Hi Guys

Thanks to all of those that were active and "looked North" during the
contest.

The local ISP lost the internet yesterday almost the entire day and I had
no way to get the message out. KG6GMT did not get out on the Rove. Brock
is the "Campground host" at a National campground about 25 miles north of
Grand Rapids. Saturday night in a local storm, a 70ft spruce blew over into
the middle of a campsite! Thank the Lord, no one was hurt, which is hard to
imagine. Almost scared people "to death"!!! There was SO MUCH official
work that was then required, most of his night and day were shot to heck .....
Bummer .....

Conditions here were very flat ... some of what is expected didn't happen.
When was the last time I didn't run the bands with K2DRH??? ARGH!
Activity was very poor on Sunday with the nice WX.

  No new highs anywhere ....

  50 Mhz .... 65 contacts 44 grids
144 Mhz .... 63 contacts 25 grids
222 Mhz .... 21 contacts 11 grids
432 Mhz .... 25 contacts 11 grids
1296Mhz .... 6 contacts 4 grids (No EN35 again!)
    10Ghz .... 1 contact 1 grid (W0GHZ rain scatter Sat eve)

181 QSOs 96 Grids and 23,232Pts

High points .... K0SQ/R contacts up in Two Harbours, Several W0AMT/R
contacts including EN25 - 1296 (New grid), 10Ghz rain scatter contact with
S-9 W0GHZ signal in the semi-dark on the end of the boatdock, running the
band with KF0Q in EN44 including 1296!.

Low points .... No EN35 on 1296, No 1296 contact with K0JOP after
several trys, poor conditions with no REAL enhancement anywhere. Many
regulars never heard at all!

Hope things are better in August!!

Bill K0AWU EN37ed
