Hi All -

We've been reporting about all the rovers that will be out next weekend for
the ARRL UHF Contest. It looks like a station with a lot of bands will do
very, very, very well.

Well, alot of us don't have a Super Station with nine bands and big amps and
stacked yagis. I am always thinking of something to keep a contest intesting
for me. Maybe it's the chance to work a new grid or set a personal best score.

I want to open up a Rover Challenge. The object will be to see who can work
the most rover QSO's on each band. I'm not sure what the prizes will be but
I'll think of something. If you only have one band, you can still be
competitive.

Here are the rover QSO possibilities right now. These will continue to go up
as more rovers send me their plans.

222 MHz - 118 QSO's
432 MHz - 118 QSO's
902 MHz - 104 QSO's
1296 MHz - 102 QSO's
2.3 GHz - 92 QSO's
3.4 GHz - 56 QSO's
5.7 GHz - 36 QSO's
10 GHz - 52 QSO's

118 QSO's on 222 & 432 MHz. This is what some people have had for total QSO
counts in past contests! If you think of ideas for awards, let me know.
