Hi All -
I will be working with the rovers to solidify their plans and get
times/grids/schedules all set for you. This is looking like a MAJOR event and there will
be some very BIG scores from our area. If you have any bands (222 MHz and
above) please take the time to be active during the UHF Contest. I know there
will be some major single-op plans. Anyone going to be active as a multi-op?
The N0HJZ multi-op record from many years ago is ripe to be broken!
Here is what you could do for a score is your worked the rovers (and no one
else):
BAND - Q's & Grids
222 MHz - 117 x 35
432 MHz - 117 x 35
902 MHz - 103 x 31
1.2 GHz - 101 x 31
2.3 GHz - 91 x 26
3.4 GHz - 55 x 21
5.7 GHz - 35 x 18
10 GHz - 51 x 23
TOTAL - 670 x 220 = 1,036,200 points!
You are seeing correct. A million points are possible by only working the
rovers!! We need everyones help to make sure the rovers are busy but also make
sure the other stations get even more Q's. With all the rover activity and
the fixed station activitiy (and a little tropo) the scores could explode!
