Hi Bill, thanks for the note.   Well, like you, I have not seen anything
either.   I'll tell ya what I know.

In previous years some members of the NLRS who have been interested &
active on the microwave bands, especially 10 and 24 GHz, have been holding
an informal gathering and picnic at Indian Mounds Park in St. Paul (just
east of the Capital, located on the bluffs above the river).   Bob, W0AUS,
has been setting up an antenna range so people can test their receive
system, tweak their dish(es), and measure gain.    We have had 10 to 20
people show up in the past .... again, a rather informal event.     In the
past, some have brought their WBFM units to play with & test as well.

The date & time (as I understand it .... someone correct me if I am wrong)
is this Sat (7/17) at 9:00 AM, the location is Indian Mounds Park, St.

Many bring something to share & to BBQ for themselves for the picnic that
follows .... I think we are following the same format this year.    Again,
this is an informal gathering.

Good day,  I am new to the microwave area and wanted to
get introduced to your group.  I thought attending the
picnic with my equipment would be a good way.
