Hi Mel. I think that there will be some VHF activity on for the MN QSO
Party. Rules can be found at http://www.w0aa.org/ . The website offers
free MNQP logging software along with a bunch of other information too.
The contest period is just ten hours (Sat., Feb 7th, 8:00AM to 6:00PM) and
there are a number of operating categories including mobile, QRP, and VHF.
Within MN there is also a club aggregate score so make sure you indicate
NLRS on your log submission (MWA sponsors the contest so does not compete
as a club in this one).

As of right now my preliminary plans are to do both VHF and HF operating
(two logs), so I'll be around Mel. I plan to concentrate on VHF but when
things are quiet I'll have my CQ machine going on 20m as well. Both of
my logs will indicate NLRS.

Remember that multipliers are the sum of MN counties plus States and
Provinces (not grids) .... you can work DX for points but they do not count
for multipliers. You can work a station twice per band; once on fone
(SSB/FM) for 1 point and again on CW for 2 points.

Anyone else going to be active on VHF for the MNQP ?
