Hello NLRS Land. Being its the end of January, its time for an update to
our States Above standings. Please send me any updates you may have by
late Sunday, Feb 1 and I'll repost on Monday, Feb 2.

The awards from last years 2002/2003 States Above event are out in the mail
as I recently received mine. Thanks Bruce. Here is a quick summary
from last years running of this fun operating event.
Mike, KM0T came in first place with a score of 199. This is Mikes
third year at #1. Mike had the highest 2m States/Province score (47)
   as well as the highest scores on 3.4 (10), 5.7 (9), 10G (9) and 24G (4).
A great accomplishment from the corn fields of EN13.
Bill, K0AWU, had a nice 4th place showing with a score of 134, all from
the frozen tundra of EN37. 6m's was a big band for Bill as he had the
highest States/Province score of all entries with 57 and was only three
   behind Mike's score on 2m with 44. (John, KB9TLV also had a good 6m
   score with 53).
There were 31 entries which was slightly down from previous year. At
least 18 of these were NLRS members.
Five of the eight stations with a claimed score on 10G were NLRS
   members.
