Looks like a good chance of bad WX moving in to the area Sat afternoon and
evening and also Sunday. Freezing drizzle forecast Sat Evening for NW IA and
SW MN and Snow etc will move east. Sunday is 70% chance of precip in my
route area. So if the wx turns I may also turn and head for home, especially
if the ice comes. Rover is ready to go and looking forward to working all of
you I can. Again I will try to be on 144.160 unless I am looking for someone
else. Also will qsy to 50.160 and 222.120 and 432.120. I will try to stick
to these freq's.

Hello, Well I am planning on going out this weekend for the contest, I
think,
if I go this will be my final post otherwise I will post again tomorrow
nite, I may have a school event to attend ( my son only informed me of this
on Wed Evening) I am trying to work around it and if nothing else get some
seat time in over the weekend. Well anyhow being optimistic my plans are as
follows:

Starting out at the EN12/13/22/23 corners in NW Iowa from there north to
EN14/24/23/13 corners in SW MN. Then East to EN34 south to EN33/32/23/22
( overnite there)

Sunday morning east to EN43/42 corner then south to EN41/42/32/31 corner
then West to finish up @ EN22/21/32/31 corner in Central Iowa. This will be
one of the few contests where I do not go out into NE and SD. I do not think
I am going to hit it very hard but hope to give a few grids out.

As of now I will have 6/2/222/432/902(3)/1296/2304/3456/5.7 and 10 Ghz with
decent power and antennas on all bands. 6 is the worst with 100 watts and a
dipole. 350 watts and either stacked loops when in route and 10 elements on
2 meters , 19 elements and 100watts on 432,120 watts and 7 el on 222,
stacked 35 element yagis and about 18 watts on 1296 and a 15 ft yagi on 902
with good power on this and the bands above.

Hope to catch a bunch of you. Oh and I will try to be on 144.160 most of the
time or as long as there is activity there.
