Well, earlier this month I had big plans to work a lot of grids, starting in
EN36 and moving south. But, this is my first time out as a rover and I never
got a chance to drive the route ahead of time to find places to work from.
I've been thinking about all of the problems that could come up and I've
decided to take it slow. I'm going to try two grid corners near the twin
cities, and a bonus grid corner to the southeast if things go well.

90 minutes per grid corner, plus dawdling time in the metro area.

Bands:	6m 100W into 3 element yagi
	2m 50W into 8 element yagi
	70cm 35W into 22 element yagi
	902 8W into 9 element yagi
	1296 3W into 24 element loop yagi

Saturday: western grid corner

EN24 1300-1430	Near the Dog Lake grid corner
EN25 1430-1600
EN34 1600-1630
EN35 1630-1800

EN35 1900-2000 stops in the west metro
EN34 2000-2100 stops in the west and south metro

Sunday: eastern and southeast grid corners

EN34 1000-1100 Mound Park, St. Paul
EN44 1230-1400 Just across the grid line near Menomonie
EN45 1400-1530	North of there.

These times shouldn't overlap with other rovers in this area.

I'll either come back to the twin cities and work EN34 & EN35 more. But, if
all the equipment has held up, I'm not frozen, disillusioned and dejected, I
might head south to:

EN43 1800-1900 Grid corner
EN33 1900-2000

and possibly more opportunities to work EN34 & EN44.

The other rovers seem to be spacing themselves up from 144.200. 144.260 is
frequently used as the liason frequency for microwave, so I'll lurk and call
on 144.270. I also plan to keep an ear on 146.46 and/or 146.55 when I'm close
in.
