Hello, all.

I spent most of my MLK holiday today working on the web site, and I got
a lot done :) but there's a lot more to go :( to get it caught up
with current stuff.

As before, you can click on the Word or PDF logo below the main NLRS
logo to see the detailed edit log. For the impatient, here are the
highlights:

1) Created the 12 calendars for the current year (2004) and linked them
    to the home page.
2) Added antenna gain results from Aurora 2003, but didn't finish adding
in the antenna gain results from the 2003 microwave picnic. The edit
log is slightly misleading here. The Aurora 2003 results are in a
temporary bloated format created by Excel 2000's html conversion
module. I will eventually clean it up to the specs of the prior
    years.
3) Added the 2003 North Shore Expedition pictures, plus a link to yet
another web pages on the topic by Bruce, W9FZ.
4) Updated the Spring Sprints information to 2004.
5) Took a whack at the January 2004 VHF Sweepstakes Rover Schedules.
So far, I have detailed info from W9FZ and only preliminary info
from W0AMT/KC0LBT. Updates, corrections, additions, etc. would be
welcome, and SOON, as the contest is drawing quite near! I'm
especially hoping to hear from N0DQS and from K0PG/K9ILT, whom I
expect to be going out, but from whom I have no current info.
6) Updated the Contest Station Locator spreadsheet and linked it to
the home page to make it easier to find. Still no progress in
convertinig it to either Visual Basic (Windoze), php (web site),
    or NSBasic (Palm OS).

There are a bunch of other behind-the-scenes things going on with the
web pages. Several megabytes worth of pictures are uploaded but not
linked to anything yet, that kind of stuff. And I have more stuff that
needs to go up, but haven't had time to work on it -- more pictures from
Aurora (gotta make some thumbnail pics!), more presentation material
from Aurora, more antenna gain measurement data, etc., etc. Plus all
the stuff that I've listed for myself to work on that has to be created
from scratch (in the edit log if you're interested).

But I will probably not do too much more with web site development right
now, other than things that are relevant to this weekend's contest,
'cause I have a few hardware issues to settle with my station equipment,
and not much time left to work on those things. Look for me on 50
through 1296 MHz from EN34js. In the event of multiple miracles between
now and this weekend, I could also have 2304 on the air somehow, but I
wouldn't bet too much on that if I were you.
