So, with the CR-282 would I just experience less frequency drift (i.e.
precision), or would my frequency accuracy also be better?

The reason I ask is that it seems my 706MkIIg is off frequency by about
700Hz on 432MHz.  It may also be off-frequency on other bands as well,
but if so it's not enough to cause operating problems.
