I too received my Midwinter Madness flyer. A couple of things. One is
that I see that it has moved to Buffalo (March 27). This makes it a bit
more of a trip for our Wisc members but a bit shorter of a trip for those
on the west side and up towards NW MN and the Dakotas. I also noticed
that there are no programs in the announcement. To the best of my
knowledge, Midwinter Madness has had a long history of having a number of
very interesting presentations on different topics including VHF. Does
anyone know if they will be have any programs ?? I'll be hugely
disappointed if they have drop this.

The club table. I think the cost is $15 if we register before the late
date at which time it goes to $20. At the last several hamfests we have
generated very good activity around the NLRS club table, have added new
membership, and have increased our clubs visibility. Unless anyone has
any reasons as to why we should not invest $15 of the clubs funds in
continuing in this type of activity I am going to go ahead and secure a
NLRS club table. As before, we will need some NLRS members to help staff
the club table ... its a fun activity and if we can get enough volunteers
we can split up the shifts to make it work out for everyone.

Earl (N0HZ), can you coordinate this, are you available .... if you are
busy we can find another volunteer. I still have the NLRS banner from the
last hamfest.
