Hi Guys

  I am sorry to report that Jerry Landreville W0IRL (ex WB0IRL) of Virgina, MN 
passed away Sunday in Silver Bay. He had been at the Veteran's Home in Silver 
Bay for about 3 years, in poor health following a stroke. 

  Jerry was quite active on 2m SSB for a time back in the later 1970's. He 
became inactive and returned to the air, changed his call to W0IRL shortly 
before his stroke. 

  He was a very good friend of mine and we spent many hours enjoying a late 
night "ragchew" on 144.200.

  Services are pending and as I understand, may be at Silver Bay at the 
Veteran's Home. If you want more info contact me and I will provide info as I 
find out myself.

  His wife Dorthy resides at 3 Knob Hill Dr, Virginia MN  55792
