[NLRS] Trial Balloon: Sept 10gigs Contest

Hi Jon et al:

I'm looking forward to September and want to hit it hard.

I'm game to go to Sisseton, but I'm also game for roving. I think there
are economies of having 4-8 ops at a location. That means fixed and
rover. Probably for fast action, maybe not 8 but more 4-5. If I rove,
I'd like to pick some tracks in the Dakotas and western Minnesota that
have easy shots to Sisseton, reasonable shots to NW Iowa and at least a
chance for the Twin Cities. Maybe Mt Tom is a place to populate with
another pocket of 4-5 ops. They wouldn't have to move too much. Once I
pick a track, I want to see if I can get a few other ops to drive along
with me for mutual support, etc.

I can't help but think that some good shots could be worked in the Red
River Valley north and south. And yes, I'm intrigued that shots to
VE4MA or W0PHD or K0AWU "might" work. If I found a good track running
north. I could take it till it petered out and then move 10 miles east
and start tracking south. Or to use an old "search and rescue" term
"creeping line" that weaves back and forth east and west while creeping
either north or south.

For further discussion, perhaps we need to start either another
reflector or refine our distribution list that we were using for
Superior 10G . Gary, LJC, could you put us together a September
distribution list?

And if we're going to have two or three fixed pockets, I think each of
them should be on separate freqs. Plus we need to discuss liaison.

I thought the 10gigs reflector on Chris's domain was meant for "short
notice" announcements. Would September discussions be appropriate on
that or should we start another or use a distribution list?
