Hi Dave. Well, although K2DRH beat you in the SOLP category, you should
BOTH feel darn awful good in that both of you trounced the previous
national records based on data that Rich provided. You guys now sit #1
and #2. Here is the updated SOLP table:
Score Station Year
174,264 K2DRH 2004
105,252 N0KP 2004
84,252 K2DRH 2001
57,684 K2DRH 2003
51,888 KB8U 2002
51,798 KB8U 2001
45,864 AF1T 2003
On the high power side, based on the rumor scores, here are the national
records as of right now:
Score Station Year
349,860 KM0T 2004
296,205 AA2UK 2003
261,171 WW8M 2002
245,802 K1TEO 2003
232,065 WW8M 2003
225,735 K1TEO 2004
219,480 W0GHZ 2004
In the rover category, grid circling can drive up large scores. Based on
the rumor scores so far:
Score Station Year
407,481 W7GHZ 2002
405,504 N7MX 2002
237,072 N5QGH 2000
168,504 W0ZQ 2004
153,816 K9PW 1999
131,238 W3IY 2004
So as things stand today, realizing that scores are still coming in,
Rovermania generated a #1 and #2 all time national record score in the SOLP
class (K2DRH is EN41 and a benefactor of Rovermania), #1 and #7 all time
national record score in the SOHP class, and a #4 all time national record
in the rover class.
In future years people are going to look back at these record scores in
2004 and think, "wow, must of been some really good tropo that year".
73, Jon
