Oops....I guess I forgot and left mail delivery disabled on this list for a
while, so I've probably missed out on some discussion of the UHF test.
We are going to be camping this weekend at St. Croix State Park, which is
about 15 miles east of Hinckley, and probably in EN36. We won't have much of
a signal, but if anyone is in range, we can try to hand out a few QSO's.
Unfortunately, antennas will probably be limited to rubber ducks. But the
good news is that it looks like there is a ranger tower you can climb, so we
might actually be able to work someone. We will have 432 SSB and 220 FM, both
QRP. If anyone is interested in setting up a sked, let me know by e-mail.
Saturday afternoon would probably be best (I'm guessing around 4:00).
Is it legal to use 2 meter FM to coordinate? If so, I could monitor from the
mobile, and head into position when someone is in range.

W0IS
