You're quite right. However the tubes in the trash can aren't there
because of gas. They have dead shorts, open heaters and/or no gain
whatever. Well, one of them is a really cruddy looking old 4x150 which
has much lower gain than the good ones. It might be gassy. Still I don't
think there is any chance whatever that I'll miss it. But thanks for the
warning.
