[NLRS] I am being spoofed

Hi everybody.

This is so common a problem in my opinion that you shouldn't waste
the bandwidth.   This spoofing doesn't have to be a NLRS member's computer.
Any windows computer that gets infected that has an email address of an NLRS
member will appear to be an NLRS member.  I get worms sent to me
by me (or so it appears) and I guranttee you that my Linux system doesn't
have a Windows worm.  The point is you cannot tell where it is coming from.

My recommendations in order of priority:
1.  Don't use windows except to execute programs that only run in windows.
2.  Don't use Outlook or Outlook Express.
   there are plenty of email clients including pine, pegasis, eudora.

3.  Don't use Internet Explorer.
    Mozilla and netscape are free and work well.

4.  Don't open email on your Windows machine.  Use a webmail of some sort.
5.  Always keep your windows machine loaded with the latest patch.
6.  Always operate your computer behind a firewall.
7.  If you cannot follow most of the suggestions above then spend your
time and money on anti-viruse software and curing your machine after
every new world-wide infection.
