[NLRS] Looking for pot

Take a look at www.mouser.com their part number 531-PC16SC-10K. Its
linear taper. Add a 10K fixed resistor from wiper to common to make it
more audio taper.

Or 31CB401. Audio taper with switch. 

Both these are metric to fit your dimensions. The second one is round,
the first one is square. Shaft will need to be cut off but these appear
to come with a 6mm knurl.

The prices for the first pot (probably the better quality pot) is $2.35
the second one is $1.12.
