>From our NLRS business meeting at Aurora'03 most of you will remember that
"No-Hertz" volunteered to help organize our clubs ability to spread the
gospel regarding weak signal VHF in our local community. For those who
are interested in making presentations please forward your information to
Earl per his request below.

I thought that I had done this but it seems that in the excitement of me
falling out of a tree and major surgeries with complications for two of my
family members this
summer it must have got by me.
So here we go again
Back at the Aurora meeting this spring we talked about PR for the NLRS in
the form of providing presentations of VHF/UHF/SHF/MW or other NLRS
interest
items for presentation to other radio clubs in the state. Lenny and I
talked at length about this and we would like to create a brochure of sorts
that could be sent to other radio clubs or placed on our Website with an "A
La Carte" menu of programs for Radio
Club meetings. Most clubs are looking for good presentations during the
active club winter months..Over the years we have had many very good
presentations and we now have the opportunity to introduce many other hams
to the excitement of the upper bands and giving them something new to
strive
for.
So I am making a request for anyone that would like to take their
VHF/UHF/SHF/MW presentation(s) on the road. Please provide me with a list
of presentations that you would be willing to make to other Radio Clubs.
This can include old and brand new presentations. They can be single or
team presentations. If you have several then list them all. I will need a
title and description of each presentation and the presenter(s).
This is one of the best ways that we can promote the NLRS plus increase new
interest and participation in the upper bands so let me know what you are
willing to do.
