With the "controversy" over which ARRL Section I should list over with, I
have my results from the 10GHz Contest. To say that I'm satisfied with the
results is somewhat of an understatement !! About 10X any previous years'
score, and better than all previous scores combined.

I had a fantastic time during the contest. The club effort was spectacular.
On both weekends the camaraderie was great. Effort by those doing the work
(travelling) was outstanding. Thanks folks ! And making 200km Qs across
Lake Superior with open waveguide was almost the same rush as my first
"real" 10GHz Q's. (Incidentally, exactly 6 years ago. On 20 Sep, 1997,
Bob, W0AUS, and I worked "down the valley" from Mounds Park. 2 QSOs on
WBFM; ~8 miles for the first, and 14.8 miles to Idell Ave for the second.)
So what are we going to do NEXT year ? Hmmm, one EME QSO to Europe is maybe
6,000 DX points.... :-)
