I will be active on 6, 2, 222, 432, 902 & 1296 from EN44. Should be =
around for most of the contest.
I would ask the rover stations to please look for those of us over in =
the Eau Claire area. The beam heading is not necessarily the same as =
for working the Twin Cities. The past few contests I have had great =
difficulty finding most of the rovers and I sure would like to work =
them! There are a number of us in this area who will be on and most of =
us have 4 - 6 bands.
For those rovers who have the capability, it sure helps if you can =
monitor your 2M frequency as much as possible. When you are off running =
the bands with others, it is many times very difficult to find you, =
especially if you are a long way from here. I will usually make a habit =
of running through the 2M liasons freqs and call for the rover station. =
If you are running another band, a quick "standby" at least lets me know =
that you are there and I will wait until you are able to come back and =
give me a contact. When I can't find someone for hours on end, I tend =
to stop looking for them.
I look forward to working all of you this weekend. Hope to work many =
rovers in many grids on many bands too!!

Charlie, N0AKC=20
