Looking to get on the 13 cm band for AO-40 and for terrestrial ops as well.
As I calculate, if my LO is 1128.5 MHz, I could use it to get on both 1272.5
and 2401 MHz using 144 as an IF. Anybody in the Twin Cities on 2400 MHz or
so? Have to order the transverter yet, but want to make sure there is
SOMEONE on within reasonable driving distance. Is anyone using the Down
East 2400 transverter (probably a dumb question)? If so, how is
performance? Can it be used across the whole band with appropriate
crystal(s) in the LO?
Thanks!
